Okey, so I've been having a little break off WoW in the past months, and I finally started playing again. Mainly cause of school and work and stuff like that, but now I'm ready to give WoW a go again. I've been playing a lot of PvP recently, and figured I'd look for a guild while I'm at it.

Name: Christer
Age: 17, soon 18.
Gender: Male
Nationality: Norwegian
Guild History: Intoxicated, which broke up earlier, hence the break off WoW. (Your previous guilds)
Reason For Applying To IAE: Well, for starters I really want a new guild, so I can start raiding again and hopefully accomplish even more then I currently have in WoW. But the main reason is probably because I want a guild which was as good, or better, then my previous guild. I wanna pick up from where I left, which was Kara and Gruul's, and continue raiding.
PvE Experience: As stated before, Karazhan and Gruul's. In addition every single 5-man instance, including heroics.
Availability: Well, now that summer vacation is coming up shortly, I have more time to play and raid. So I usually play from around 16:00/16:30-00:00 on weekdays. And from whenever I want on weekends. (Days and Times which you are able to raid)

Class: Rogue
Talent Build: 31/3/27. Which is mainly a PvP specc, because of the time I've been playing lately has been mostly PvP. If I get accepted, or even get a trial in IAE I will gladly respecc to combat daggers to do more in raids.
Talent Reasoning: As stated before, PvP. The extra energy is good, and Seal Fate makes you get that extra finishing strike if your opponent just won't die. (Explain to use why you use chose your talent build)
CTProfiles: I find armory better to use, so here's a link: http://armory.wow-europe.com/#character-sheet.xml?r=Tarren+Mill&n=Athalion
Gear Reasoning: Well, tbh. The reason to why I chose my gear is because of the stats and all. I use whatever I get, whenever I get it. If it's better then my previous items, which everyone else probably does. But I'm currently waiting to socket my bracers until I get the epic gem from the PvP vendors, which makes my crit chance better. (Explain to use why you use the gear you use)

That was everything I had to say about my self, and my char. Hope you guys at least give me a chance to let me show what I'm good for in a trial period/run.

Best regards, Athalion.

Hi Athalion and thank you for your application.

Our Guild Master Morlondiel is currently on a 3-4 weeks vacation so I'm filling his spot while he's away.

Just a few notes:

- Our rogue class has been and still is one of the most crowded classes.
- We have a very strickt min 18 years policy as most of our members are between 20-30 years old.
- We are a pure PvE guild and don't allow any PvP or semi PvE specs in raids.
- All new players become trials and the trial period is min 4-8 weeks and perhaps longer if the class is crowded, there is no automatic promotion.

I will look at your gear, discuss this with the other officers and get back to you soon.

Best regards, Damokles

Hello there. Thanks for the fast reply!

I am aware that the rogue class is really high in different guilds atm, but a trial period is more then enough for me just to make that clear. The 18 age limit is really understandable and I won
t cause any sign of immatureness just to make that clear too. The fact that I am currently PvP specced is to make as much out of the Battlegrounds as possible. I feel this is also neccessary if I join a raiding guild. So if I get the opportunity to raid with you guys I will of course respecc to a more PvE based rogue specc.

By doing alot of PvP you should have gained alot of honor points, still I cant see any epic PvP weapon wielded  Tongue Why is this? As for your current wielded weapons, you got the best non epic mainhand dagger for a combat build, however as offhand [whispering blade of slaying] really isnt good enough, for a combat build your dagger should not be slower then 1.40 so thats something you should prioritize getting. [b.o.o.m. operative's belt] is green, something we dont like, get [naaru belt of precision] by completing the how to break into the arcatraz questline. Else I'm mainly missing hit rating on your gear, using 8 crit rating and 8 hit rating which is the amount appearing on gems, this is their value:

8 hit rating = 0,5% hit = 0,5% increased damage
8 crit rating = 0,36% crit = 0,47% increased damage (if you have Lethality)

Being easier to find on the mass attack power gear, you really should aim for atleast 8% increased hit chance from gear while you now have 4%.

Anyway where in Norway are you from and do you know any of the members in IAE?

When you're referring to the PvP weapons, you don't get the epic weapons(arena) from Honor Points, you get them from gaining Arena points. And considering I haven't done THAT much arena PvP yet, I don't have any epic PvP weapons yet. I could have gotten the superior PvP weapon rewards, but the dagger which I get from the vendors isn't better then my current main hand dagger. And as for my off-hand, I really didn't think I would have that longer then I currently had. I used to have the offhand fist-weapon from Botanica, but I changed that for a chance of using Multilate in PvP. But I yet haven't tried that. I focused on getting the Non-set epic rewards before I got the superior weapons.

About my hit+ rating, I haven't gotten that much gems increasing my hit+ rating. Mostly crit+. And as for the green belt, I changed it out with a level 66 belt I got from a vendor at some PvP event in Nagrand. Mainly because of the amount of attack power I gained from using it.

And regarding my current location in Norway, I live in the capital city Oslo.

Hi again Athalion, I'm sorry to inform you that our Rogue ranks are full so I have to decline your application.

Good luck in your search for a new guild, I hope you find what you're looking for.
