TBC for free?

I just got myself a 10 day free trial for TBC. I just downloaded the files and i'm actually playing with it.

Do i have to buy TBC afterwards, or can i just buy a gamecard and play further?

Would be a pity if i buy a gamecard and have to find out that i need to order a TBC aswell.

This is what it says on my old normal wow trial account, 99.999% sure it will say the same after your TBC trial is over.
