GUIDE TO APPLYING (Read before posting)

Applicants: please read the following and act where needed:

First, register for IAE's forums using the name of the character you're planning to apply on: click here to register.
Second, answer all questions listed in the Application Form below and post your response in a new thread in this forum (Newcomers). Note our raid times below when answering questions about raid availability. Please make sure to answer all application questions as complete as possible!
Third, check back regularly! When we've reached a decision on your app, or if we have additional questions, we will PM you through these boards, post a reply to your thread, or contact you in game.
Fourth, if you are applying for a friend rank only, say so clearly. You need to fill out the form regardless of what rank you are applying for.

General requirements:
Iacta Alea Est is looking for mature and skilled players oriented for team work. In general our player base is a little older than other high-end guilds on Tarren Mill, so to apply for IAE you need to be minimum 20 years old for social reasons. Thursday & Tuesday raids will be targeted for non-mandatory 10man raids. Your character needs to be your main character. Alts with mains in other guilds will not be accepted. If your class/spec isn't listed above you can still make a application, we are always looking for good geared, dedicated and skilled players.

Community Guidelines:
1 ) The IAE community is build on a longtime relationship with people from different countries with real life ties.
2 ) We’ve people from all over europe which leads to different cultures and language skills.
3 ) Everyone in this guild is above the age of 20, so we look on ourself as a mature bunch of people playing this game.
4 ) We all got different IRL obligations and we all understand and respect that those obligations always are more important then WoW.
5 ) We value a friendly and mature manner with respect for the culture differences and language skills.
6 ) Our community value players that help out. We help each other farming 5 man instances, do quests, get achievements and see new content (10 man).
7 ) We want a tight community and believe that our guild isn’t better then our weakest link, so helping lesser experienced and geared people is a contribution towards building greatness.
8 ) We believe that fun, a good laugh and some appropriate challanges done together is the way to stimulate and motivate people to spend time on this hobby.
9 ) We do not tolerate lots of e-drama, backstabbing and victimization. If anyone feel that someone has crossed their personal line, we expect people to say so to the involved part and settle or notify the GM.
10 ) We care for each other, so asking in guild if anyone wants to join for 25 man, 10 man, 5 man or whatever before asking players outside the guild for help is something we expect. It’s a win win situation for a healthy community.

Demands:
1 ) You have to be 20 years or older
2 ) We expect you to know your class well, we will not teach you how to play
3 ) You need to have a working PC, and a good connection (no dc problems)
4 ) We expect you to be able to maintaining common-sense social rules during raids and in guild
5 ) Speak and write English
6 ) Have a mic and be able to use Teamspeak2 and Ventrilo
7 ) Bad applications will be auto-deleted
