Silanthir, druid applying as FRIEND

This is an application to be allowed in as a FRIEND. I was asking around for somebody to activate my account on this forum so I could write an application, but got an invite to the guild instead

2 ) Guild history. Tell us about your current and previous guilds / servers.
Mithrilguard on Deathwing and Tarren Mill, Inertia, Padded Tower (my personal asylum aka my own guild where my family members are too), Mithrilguard again. Currently in IAE

3 ) Why do you want to leave your current guild / left your last guild, may we contact them?
Wanted to have an easier time to get into groups with Caswallon and Deliverance

4 ) List your raid experience on your main character and possible previous mains, where applicable (10/20/25/40 man):
Never was much for raids really. Got dragged a few times to some though over the years

- Classic Raids: MC, Onyxia, ZG, AQ20, AQ40 first boss, all on my hunter
- TBC Raids: Zul Aman and a couple of the outdoor raids, on my warlock
- WotLK Raids: Onyxia, on Silanthir the druid

5 ) How long have you been playing your character?
Not sure what /played is on Silanthir, but he was created sometime during 2005. I tend to drift from game to game, and in WoW I've spent more time on Horde side (I like winning BG's Wink

)

6 ) Tell us about your spec! (Please include a link to your character's Armory profile.)
The Armory (and search function on Battlenet) are down at the moment, so can't link the spec.

I see myself as primarily a tree (sadly can't be 24/7 tree anymore, but I try to be a tree as often as possible) and I spent almost a minute planning the spec. The boomkin spec ( I spent perhaps 30 seconds pondering the boomkin spec) is for questing and to pretend I do some DPS when I am not wanted/needed as a healer (it is awfully hard for me to focus on DPSing when I see party members lose health, but I try to remember what role I am supposed to have).

7 ) Can you provide us with a link to a WWS or WoL report that showcases your raid performance?
Nope, can not. But I am pretty sure such logs would show I suck.

8 ) What do you want out of this game?
Good moments, fun, some sillines

9 ) Why do you want to join IAE? What do you expect from IAE as a guild?
Wanted to get together with Caswallon and Deliverance again (wouldn't have minded run together with Dehn too, but it is my understanding he has switched over to the good guys (aka Horde) now.

10 ) Why should we recruit you? Aside the fact that we may need your class, what do you have to offer us?
Ummm... this is the hard one. I knew this would come... To be honest, I can't think of any *good* reasons. Perhaps you need more names on the guild-roster? I think I can be rather pleasent company at times (that is when I am not in the bonehead mood) and am willing to help guildies in anyway I can and am capabl of, but other than that it is really really hard for me to come up with a proper reason.

11 ) Who referred you to IAE, or how did you hear about us? Do you know anyone in the guild?
Nobody actually *refered* me. Caswallon and Deliverance (and Dehn before them) have been in IAE quite some time, but they actually didn't ask me to join IAE (they tend to switch guilds when ever I catch up with them, dunno what the reason is Wink

). I succeeded to corner Caswallon the other night and he accidently did slip out where these forums are. Don't blame me if they change guild next week...

12 ) What is your availability?
For raiding I don't think I'd be that much available, at least regularily (and I think you would have to be rather desperate to drag me along even occasionally). I have a work where I have sometimes very early or very late shifts (so some evenings are excellent for gaming, others are absolute no-go), and I am also married and have four kids with whome I also like to spend time with

13 ) How much do you play on an average week?
0-40 hours. Some weeks not at all, some weeks (when I am not burdened at work) waaaay to much. On the average perhaps 5-10 hours a week I think.

14 ) What's your favourite WoW item and why?
Electromagnetic Gigaflux Reactivator, because you can pull a full instance with it in one go. Besides it is a cool looking propellor hat, who doesn't love those?

15 ) What's your all time favourite WoW instance and why?
Gnomeregan, because you can get the Electromagnetic Gigaflux Reactivator from there.

16 ) Who's you BFF in WoW and why?
Thrall, of course.

17 ) How many followers do you got on Twitter?
0, I don't use Twitter.

18 ) Describe your dream vacation IRL.
Somewhere where it is warm and one can go swimming and diving in warm clear water, but also where there are close by amusement parks, cinemas and good restaurants and no other people except those who I want to be in the area. I want space around me, but still all the services within close reach.

19 ) What's your best vacation memory?
Honeymoon with my wife. We visited London and Paris, and I got to see Jim Morrisons grave in Pere Lachaise.

20 ) How do you like your pizza?
As long as it has extra cheese it will be fine.

Beer.

Pretty much dream come true.

4, because that pretty much explains my gaming schedule, so I don't have to explain why I can't always be available for something.
