I don't intend to start a political discussion, but this is something we all need to see. In the light of our recent petty arguments over a computer game, I find it satisfying that some people make statements that really might make an impact.

It is indeed very sad that hundreds of people in Iraq die each day because of this war. I think it was needed that the dictator was removed from his seat, but the unrest in Iraq right now really shows how one man can devastate an entire country. However, I do wonder what will happen to Iraq if the USA retreat too soon and too fast. I think there will be a revolution once more with thousands of deaths. The Iraqi government needs to be able to control the country first, before the USA can gradually retreat from Iraq. The USA really need to be careful with talking about retreating or else everything was in vain.

Well the Iraqi war was to soon as there was noone to take over (they didnt actually realize that occupying Iraq and inserting an "american" guy as president in Iraq would yield terrible consequences). If there actually was some political opposition in Iraq representing the majority of the peoples wishes before the war and if they had used Nato/EU, the task of creating a real revolution in Iraq would be far better. Now they have an american regime, something the people of Iraq dont want, and this WILL lead to a civil war, thats unavoidable.

What scares me though is that the invasion of Iraq has showed that US will also attack North Korea and Iran. That is far more dangerous because there is no doubt that Nuclear missiles would be used in such wars.

Nah, US won't attack invade those countries. Not yet anyway, participating in a war isn't exactly cheap.

Nah, Democrats won the Seneta elections meaning they finally realised that the war was a wrong choice (took them long enough, better late then never I suppose)

US people cannot realise or understand anything, they are dumb chickens running around looking for the largest SUV and trying to buy all the guns in their state. Only time they care about anything is when they need tax reduction (which is allways), so thus they vote for Bush every damn election when he promise low taxes, removes some taxes and creates some new to pay for some war someplace, or just for the hanging of people in their illegal prisons on cuba.
